A method of calculating the optimal time of vulcanization of rubber compounds has been Developed. Numerical simulation of the vulcanization process is carried out by solving the problem of determining the temperature field in the product and building on the basis of this field the kinetics of vulcanization. The mathematical model includes the equations of thermal conductivity and kinetics of the process. The solution of the thermal conductivity equation is carried out using an explicit finite-difference scheme, the solution of the system of kinetics of vulcanization is made by Runge-Kutta method, the solution of the equation for determining the degree of vulcanization is obtained by dichotomy. The model of information flows is presented. To implement the proposed method, a special software using the C++programming language was created. The licensed software product “Borland C++ Builder”was used as an integrated environment.
