Abstract

The methods of the chromatographic analysis of the content of monomers in the
copolymerization of N- vinylformamide and N- vinylpyrrolidone are offered, and the ability to control the
reaction process by the transport methods ( high performance liquid chromatography, liquid
chromatography low pressure , gas chromatography, high performance thin layer chromatography), the
physicochemical analysis by descending comonomer content in the reaction mass is demonstrated. The
molecular characteristics of the copolymers by Benoit universal calibration curve using constants Mark-
Houwink for homopolymers of poly -N- vinylformamide and poly -N- vinylpyrrolidone in 0.2 M aqueous
solutions of NaCl are determined.
