Abstract

The analysis of the first experiment of M.S. Tswett (1903) in which the idea of a
chromatography for the first time has been started is carried out. On an example of discovery of a
chromatography the objective reasons of resistance of scientific community for new ideas with do not
correspond to the added paradigm are considered. Short years of life of M.S. Tswett in Voronesh are
described. It is stated transformations of a chromatography into the most informative method of the
chemical analysis
