Abstract

Routine method of Gas Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) analysis for fatty acids N,Ndimethylaminopropylamides
mixture from coconut and sunflower oils is developed. Basic characteristic
peaks of propylamides derivatives are identified. The mechanism of fatty acids dimethylaminopropylamides
fragmentation by electron ionization (EI) of the tested compounds is proposed.
