Abstract

Alkyl aromatic amino acid’s (tyrosine and phenylalanine) mass transfer in electrodialysis of
solutions containing inorganic salts was studied in the systems with homogeneous and heterogeneous
polymer membranes. The amino acid and mineral salt mixtures separation characteristics and their
dependence on the ion-exchange membrane type, on the quantitative and qualitative composition of
mineral impurities were determined.
