Abstract

The differential isosteric heat and entropy of adsorption of methanol vapors on dehydrated
sodium, methylammоnium- and tetramethylammоnium form montmorilonites were determined. The
temperature dependence of the adsorption equilibrium parameters shown that the substitution of
[CH3NH3]+, [(CH3)4N]+ for Na+ causes an increase in the volume of the micropores and in the heat of
adsorption. The differential entropy of adsorption of CH3OH on montmorillonites and modifyed forms is
negative for all the filling
