Russian labor market for top managers: research problems and formation particular features

Abstract

The article presents the analysis of the Russian top managers' labor market build-up factors. Using the original data the authors review present-day situation at top-managers' market and designate the major segments of this market. Particular consideration is given to the top managers' human capital development. The demand for various types of higher education is estimated, the authors are presenting top 10 Russian and foreign universities and pointing out the reasons for receiving second higher education. Analysis of top managers' educational level and professional experience shows to what extent these two features can substitute each other.
