Abstract

The article examines the issue of the need for economic stimulation of environmental protection activities in a market economy, identifies the specific capabilities of the region in the field of stimulating rational use of natural resources, and suggests measures to strengthen the stimulating effect on environmental protection activities at all levels of the social structure.
