Economic security: opportunities of contemporary Russia

Abstract

Today Russia has all necessary resources and opportunities to be an active and competent partner of the leading world countries. The constantly changing character of the modern Russian economy stipulate the necessity of addressing to the sources which contain profound economic knowledge and concrete recommendations for practical activity. Undoubtedly, fifteen years of reforms of Russian economy and oil industry have brought positive and negative results which require accurate and adequate analysis and discussion. The current national companies are constantly coming to the world market competing with the largest transnational companies. This demands from them skills and principles in order to adapt the sharply changing conditions, correctly assess the world conjuncture and reach the raised aims in their business activity. These tasks are mostly effectively solved by the vertically integrated structures in the oil industry of Russia.
