Studying corruption influence on the economy of the region

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the corruption influence on the development of the regional economic relations. On the basis of the statistical reports of Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Tambov oblasts in 2001—2002 and expert survey data modern processes of the hierarchy structure of the shady sector of the Cenlral-Chernozeni region economy is analyzed. Special attention is given to the official corruption connected with criminal rent. To develop state control over the shady structures set of organizational economic and legal measures are suggested.
