Classification of methods of calculation of cumulative factorial productivity

Abstract

This article describes new approach to the classification of methods of total factor productivity (TFP) estimation. According to the author ’s approach this methods can be divided into three groups: econometric, index and mixed. Econometric methods consist of three groups: parametric, semiparametric and nonparametric. Index methods include classical and optimization. The article considers brief literature review for TFP estimation techniques.
