Abstract

Entrepreneurial activity is considered in the article as one of the important directions of increasing employment, improving the use of labor potential of the region. A high proportion of the number of workers in the informal sector of the economy, as well as those employed outside the profession, is emphasized. Despite the purposeful efforts of the authorities of the region, there are still difficulties in starting their own business and expanding the existing small business. The numerous structures and programs of business support existing in the Voronezh region require more coordinated measures, as well as targeted legal, information and financial support.
