ТЕНДЕНЦИИ РАЗВИТИЯ ИННОВАЦИОННОЙ ДЕЯТЕЛЬНОСТИ В РЕГИОНАХ РОССИЙСКОЙ ФЕДЕРАЦИИ

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the trends of innovation activity in the regions of Russia. The problems of innovation activity in Russia and its administrative-territorial entities have been discussed for a long time in the scientific literature. Various hypotheses concerning the necessary measures to stimulate innovation processes are put forward. At the moment it is possible to state insufficient development of innovative activity. The article attempts to assess the trends of innovation activity in the regions representing different groups of regions. The grouping made on the basis of virtual clustering. There are 5 groups of regions with different combinations of parameters of innovation activity. During the study, a model region was determined for each group by the criterion of the minimum distance from the cluster center. The analysis of trends in innovative development of Russian regions showed significant differences in terms of indicators characterizing the conditions and results of innovation.
