Abstract

The article considers one of the topical macroeconomic problems of modern society – this is the problem of unemployment by the example of the Crimean Region, which, in turn, leads to a decrease in the standard of living of citizens and their welfare. The main theoretical approaches of representatives of economic schools on employment and unemployment are identified and systematized. The analysis of the labor market and unemployment in the Republic of Crimea was conducted with recommendations for its reduction. Forms of unemployment relative to the regional labor market are considered.
