Personnel import substitution in the oil and gas industry

Abstract

The article is devoted to the problem of personnel substitution in oil and gas industry in Russia. Sanctions imposed by some Western countries has led to the restriction of work foreign oil companies in Russia, which become an obstacle to work in our country foreign skilled personnel, and as a result to decreasing interest of Russian companies to such employees, actualization of problems in the engineers education. The article formulates recommendations for public authorities, educational institutions and energy companies to overcome the problems of the personnel import substitution in oil and gas industry.
