The article describes the theoretical bases of Foresight. There have been marked the stages of Foresight evolution. Conceptual-categorical apparatus has been studied, grounding on the characteristics of Foresight substantive bases of. There have been distinguished the features of strategic forecasting, prediction and Foresight as foreseeing technology.
