Study the level of financial literacy of schoolchildren in Nizhny Novgorod region

Abstract

The issues of financial education are by far one of the most important in the field of non-formal education. Analysis of the existing studies leads to the conclusion that in the modern world a huge information content remains unsolved the problem of sources and forms of delivering quality information to students. The paper presents the results of study I to assess the level of financial literacy of school students in Nizhny Novgorod region. It proposes a system of competency assessment in the field of Finance for students, as well as proposed and tested hypotheses about the determinants of the formation of the current level.
