Innovative directions of regional development

Abstract

The authors researched the system of innovative activities promotion as one of the main tasks of the state regional policy. According to the authors, the innovation’s impact on economy is conditioned by the coordination of the innovation policy and scientific, technological, industrial, financial policies. The government has to play the main role in regulation of investment and innovation processes. The authors offered a few steps in economic and innovation policies for providing intensification and sustainable development of innovation processes.
