Новые данные об эоплейстоценовой герпетофауне из местонахождения Морозовка-1 (Одесская область)
Аннотация
Введение: герпетофауна из эоплейстоценового местонахождения Морозовка-1 уже изучалась ранее. Из-за плохой сохранности ископаемых остатков и недостатка сравнительного материала до вида удалось определить лишь три змеиных позвонка из семи. Недавно при разборе коллекций были обнаружены еще два змеиных позвонка. Малочисленность изученных материалов по эоплейстоценовым герпетофаунам Восочной Европы делает необходимым уточнить прежние определения и доопределить неизученные ранее позвонки змей из этого местонахождения.
Методика исследований: для видовой идентификации ископаемые позвонки сравнивались с позвонками современных видов.
Систематическая часть: приводится описание новых и переописание ранее изучавшихся позвонков змей. Они определены как Coronella austriaca, Elaphe sauromates, Elaphe dione, Colubrinae indet., Colubridae indet., Vipera berus, Vipera ursinii s.l.
Обсуждение и выводы: с учетом ранее изученных материалов остатки амфибий и рептилий из местонахождения Морозовка-1 (Черевичное-1) представлены следующими формами: слой 4: Pelobates fuscus aut vespertinus – 1, Pelobatidae indet. – 1, Anura indet. – 1; Testudines indet. – 1, Lacerta agilis L. – 1, Elaphe dione – 1, Colubrinae indet. – 1, Natrix natrix (L.) – 2, Natrix tessellata (Laur.) – 1, Colubridae indet. – 1, Vipera berus – 1, Vipera ursinii s.l. – 1; слой 5: Coronella austriaca – 1, Elaphe sauromates – 1. По количественному соотношению остатков видов, предпочитающих различные биотопы, можно предположить лесостепную обстановку с участием широколиственных и смешанных лесов, чередующихся с открытыми пространствами и редколесьями. Климат, скорее всего, был близок к современному в районе местонахождения.
