Herpetofauna from the late middle pleistoсene locality of Kolabinsky brook (Kaluga region)

The remains of Triturus cristatus (Laurenti) aut Triturus dobrogicus (Kiritzescu), Bufo bufo (Linnaeus), Hyla orientalis Bedriaga, Pelophylax lessonae (Camerano), Rana arvalis Nilsson, Anguis fragilis Linnaeus, Darevskia cf. derjugini (Nikolsky) и Natrix natrix (Linnaeus) determined in the fossil herpetofauna of Kolabinsky brook. The bones of the detected species, as well as the anomalous vertebra of brown frog are described, the paleogeographic situation during the burial of the herpetofauna is discussed. Findings of southern forms (Hyla orientalis and Darevskia cf. derjugini) are of special interest. The latter, now living in the Caucasus, indicates about strong change of its area by now.
