Regulatory regulation for formation integrated reporting

Abstract

Importance: the prerequisites for the development of integrated reporting are associated with the globalization of the world economy, its impact on the international division of labor, logistics, the acceleration of the movement of capital, innovation processes, and the expansion of relationships in the economic, political, and cultural spheres. Business internationalization, the development of consolidated groups of organizations with a wide range of activities: strategic horizontal and vertical alliances, joint ventures, multinational corporations contribute to the transformation of capital, enhance the value of reporting information, and expand the composition of corporate reporting elements. The interests of investors extend to non-financial indicators that, along with financial indicators, characterize the sustainability of the corporation’s development. Purpose: study of the stages of development and regulatory regulation of the formation of integrated reporting based on the International Financial Reporting Standards, Reporting Standards in the field of sustainable development. Ensuring the interconnection of the elements of integrated reporting with indicators used in corporate governance. Research design: the genesis and main stages of the development of integrated reporting are investigated, the content of the aspects of forming the perimeter of integrated reporting is disclosed, and the properties of key indicators of an integrated report are identified. Results: in order to ensure compliance and interconnection of the indicators included in the integrated report with the indicators used for internal purposes by the executive management and those responsible for corporate governance, it is proposed to form corporate accounting and reporting standards that systematize financial and non-financial information. The content of the corporate standard, which reveals the formation of financial and non-financial information on the movement of materials, is presented.
