Labor market in the Orenburg oblast: analysis of condition and periodisation of development

Abstract

Purpose: to give the characteristic of the conditions of the labor market of the region and to allocate phases in its development. Discussion: In the assumption that in development of regional labor market there are phases, the author suggests to establish borders of such phases by a cluster analysis. As the temporary ranks of the labor market indicators, as a rule, contain a trend and seasonality, their preliminary reduction to a stationary look is supposed. Results: The author allocated phases in the development of labor market of the Orenburg region with use of the cluster analysis to the ranks of dynamics of indicators of demand, the offer and compensation. At the receiving of new data, using the received classes (phases) as the training selection, it is possible to establish the transition of the labor market development to other phase.
