Information support for processes of management of sustainable development of rural territories

Abstract

Purpose: The article is devoted to the development of the system of strategic planning and increase of information support of administrative structures. The formation of the necessary conditions for the sustainable development of rural areas is associated with an increase in the effectiveness of interdepartmental and intersectoral programming. Discussion: The article presents the main results of the analysis of sources and amount of financing of regional state programs for achieving the set goals and objectives that serve as a guide for the formation of socio-ecological and economic conditions that allow taking into account modern challenges and threats. When developing strategic plans for agrarian-oriented regions and rural areas, it is necessary to use a program-targeted approach that allows not only to establish but also to take into account the revealed tendencies and patterns, to set new directions for development. Results: The author presents the results of multifactor forecasting, which confirm the need for practical use of the econometric approach to substantiate the directions and strategic parameters of sustainable development of rural areas.
