Comparative analysis of the provisions of the professional standard «specialist in the field of competitive law» and the educational standard for the training of masters on the direction of «Economics»

Abstract

Purpose: to carry out a comparative evaluation of the generalized labor functions of the professional standard of a specialist in the field of competition law with the provisions of the educational standard in the field of master’s training in the field «Economics» to enhance the professionalism of specialists in the field of competition law. Discussion: there is a problem of establishing uniform requirements for the professional qualification of specialists in the field of competition law. This leads to the need for a comparative assessment of the compliance of the provisions of the professional standard of the said specialists and the competence assessment system, which involves the unification of a single teaching and methodological complex for the preparation of masters in the direction «Economics» and the procedure for an independent evaluation of qualifications according to established rules. Results: an analysis of the requirements for education and training of specialists in the field of competition law by skill level within the framework of generalized labor functions was conducted. The authors determined the areas and objects of professional activity of graduates who mastered the master’s program. This allowed us to formulate uniform requirements for professional activity in the field of competition law.
