The maintenance of economic security of small enterprise in the modern period

Abstract

Purpose: the article is devoted to the analysis of existing concepts of economic security in the sphere of small business and to the formation of the author's personal definition; the author also tries to reveal the elements of economic security of small enterprises, to identify existing support measures at the regional level. Discussion: the effectiveness of the formation of the business sector is considered to be the main indicator of the stability of the region; the maintenance of economic security of small enterprise plays the main role in the development of competitive entrepreneurship. The maintenance of economic security requires systematic and coordinated actions of all branches of government, entrepreneurs and general public. Results: the author presents personal interpretation of the concept «Economic security» for small businesses, reveals the main elements of economic security, and gives the results of the study of the state of small business in the Voronezh region.
