Methodology trees of goals and functions for the corporate integrated structures

Abstract

Purpose: the main goal of the article lies in development of the method of constructing the tree of goals and functions for the corporate integrated structures and to demonstrate its place and role in solving the problems of formation and comprehensive assessment of organizational structures of the research object. Discussion: аs a basic method for solving the problem, the approach proposed by F. Peregudov was chosen. A distinctive feature of the proposed method was the adaptation of the basic method for corporate integrated structures, which provides for the stage of construction of a hierarchical graph describing the vertical relationships of subordination of elements of the corporate integrated structure, as well as the use of the principle of direct and reverse decomposition of the main elements of the tree of goals and functions, taking into account the system-forming relationships, which is crucial for corporate integrated structures. Results: in the process of adaptation of the basic method, recommendations were given on the identification of the global goal, final products, sub-goals and functions for each level of the corporate integrated structures management system, which are the essence of the methodology, a typical composition of the target initiation spaces for the management organization was proposed. Approbation of the proposed method was carried out on the example of two levels of management (management organization and product subsystem) of the diversified Corporation «South diversified Corporation (UMC)», for which trees of goals and functions were developed.
