Documentation of the university as a source of information the rankings
Abstract
Purpose: to analyse and systematize documentation of higher education institution from which information can be used for carrying out monitoring of the international competitiveness of this higher education institution and also rating agencies by drawing up the ratings. Discussion: each rating agency, making the ratings, has to rely on objective information. Any rating is not subjective opinion, but accurately developed analysis algorithm and accounting of indicators which influence the educational organization in such a way that give it the chance to take high positions, to have the big competition among students and teachers, to influence the cost of educational services. The openness and availability of information used by drawing up ratings fairly simplifies life not only to rating agencies, but also higher education institution in general, giving them the chance to conduct a certain comparative analysis independently. The more precisely information is also more truthfully provided, the it is simpler to carry out the competitive analysis. Results: division of indicators into groups which are used in techniques of assessment of the international competitiveness of the universities is carried out, the form of the reporting which can promote systematization and simplification of information search is developed.
