Assessment of the investment attractiveness of the territory: theoretical and methodological analysis
Abstract
Purpose: to improve methodological approaches to assessing the invest ment activity of the territory. Discussion: the investment climate of the territory should be considered in relation to investment attractiveness and investment activity, which are in causal relationships with each other. This approach allows us to move from the study of effects alone to the study of causes as well, which will allow us to consider all possible scenarios and causes and establish the necessary consensus on the most likely causes. In addition, the use of a causal relationship diagram is appropriate when it is necessary to identify possible root causes of a particular impact, as well as when developing corrective actions. Results: a method for assessing the investment attractiveness of the territory is proposed.
