Abstract

Purpose: identification and justification of the system of measures necessary for the organization and development of the infrastructure of children's recreation as part of the field of regional tourism. Discussion: in modern Russia, the issue of modernizing the infrastructure of children's recreation and rehabilitation remains unresolved. The provisions announced in the new Strategy for the Development of Tourism in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035, despite the relevance, demand and practical significance, are not implemented to the proper extent. This reinforces the need to define a system of measures to address the problem. Results: recommended measures allow, firstly, to form a favorable and comfortable social environment, i.e. implement one of the most important areas of social policy. Secondly, their use entails the development of the market for regional and interregional children's tourism, which allows increasing the investment attractiveness of the region and the level of competitiveness.
