Human resources management as a basis for increasing the reliability of a high-technology enterprise
Abstract
Purpose: the article aims to analyze the models of human resource management, the complex application of which will improve the reliability of a high-tech enterprise and its competitiveness. Discussion: in the context of the increasing volatility of the economy, as well as the deterioration of the socio-political situation in front of high-tech enterprises, the problem of maintaining the reliability of functioning and market competitiveness is becoming increasingly important, including by reducing costs. Often this problem is solved by reducing the personnel of enterprises, as well as by taking measures aimed at optimizing human resource management. However, such actions do not always allow achieving the set goals. Results: the article proposes hard and soft approaches to personnel management. A tough approach to human resource management is based on the close integration of human resources policy with a business strategy that views employees as a resource that needs to be managed as rationally as any other resource used to get the most out of it. The soft approach views employees as valuable assets and a source of competitive advantage through their commitment and high skill and performance levels.
