Formation of the strategy of the regional industry development on the basis of specialization

Abstract

Purpose: justification of directions for improvement of strategies for spatial development of regional industry. Discussion: nowadays the strategies for socio-economic development of the country's regions are being elaborated and refined with the aim to improve the efficiency of spatial solutions. In scientific researches to this aspect of social and economic development the considerable attention is given. On the other hand, it is important in theoretical and practical aspects to improve the balance of functional subsystems with different localization. The alignment of both aspects, as far as it was possible to establish during the analysis of regional and municipal strategies, is achieved on a point-by-point basis and does not cover the whole complex of large functional subsystems, including the industrial sector. Results: during the analysis of documents of strategic planning of Voronezh region and municipal unions which stipulate the developed industrial complexes we have determined the following: priority directions of their industrial development in consideration of actual and perspective specialization; composition of strategic purposes, tasks, tools necessary for their practical realization; basic principles of specialization of industrial subsystems of municipal unions of the region; composition of tools having universal and specialized application.
