Risks of innovative projects: estimates experts and fans
Abstract
Purpose: to carry out risk assessment of innovative projects from positions of the experts and people who do not have special knowledge, but enough prepared in the field of economy and management (fans), to compare their points of view, to reveal common features and differences in their views. Discussion: now in scientific community and among practicians of management there is a popular belief that risks of the innovative projects implemented in the social and economic systems of various level are very high. Risk assessment by both groups showed that the size of risks is exaggerated. Results: аs a result of the carried-out questioning and data processing the method of indistinct sets revealed unambiguous opinion on the low general level of risks of innovative development. Opinions of experts and fans are rather coordinated both in groups, and between them. Market and personnel risks are highest. Technical technological hazards and institutional risks are least expressed. The received results allow the enterprises and their divisions to predict to a certain extent areas of emergence of risks and level of their influence on the planned and implemented innovative projects.
