Abstract

Purpose: evaluation criteria and factors shaping the leadership positions in the organization. Discussion: elements of the environment and in-depth competence (attitudes and values that make up the self-concept of the person) are completely lost in assessing the organizations leadership competencies of employees. Personal characteristics are not sufficiently investigated. The use of competency approach to employee assessment and understanding of leadership with ethical positions create new opportunities for the leadership studying. Results: we presented the necessity of forming a leadership diagnostic model based on ethical standards, within competence models, power and influence.
