GRP AS A TOOL FOR THE ANALYSIS OF STRUCTURAL PROPORTIONS OF THE REGIONAL ECONOMY
Abstract
Purpose: the article is devoted to the identification of the general and specific characteristics of the state of social infrastructure and production in the region, based on the interrelationship and interdependence of the data from System of National Accounts (SNA) and system of regional accounts (SRA). Discussion: The problems of formation of the system of national accounts at the regional level are examined; analysis of the dynamics and structure of Russia's GDP and GRP Lipetsk region is performed. Results: based on the analysis of statistical data on various aspects of the GRP structure, the authors of the article conclude that the use of the gross regional product is an important tool for the study of structural and roportions of mesolevel economy. This approach allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of regional reproduction, determine the location of the region in the territorial division of labor is the basis for the specification and validation of the provisions of target programs of economic and social development of the regions.
