Abstract

Purposes: analysis of the investment activity dynamics in the Central Black Earth Region (CBER). An object of research is the system of the indicators allowing analyzing dynamics and level of investment activity of the region. Discussion: For the analysis of investment activity the two-component structure of indicators including two blocks we used: activity indicators in the sphere of investment attraction and activity indicators in the sphere of use of investments. The structure of indicators included the volume of investment into fixed capital, the volume of investment into fixed capital per capita, amount of the state investments per capita, the gross regional product (GRP), GRP per capita, number of the created advanced production technologies, number of the used advanced production technologies, amount of innovative goods, works, services in a total amount. Quantity characteristics of investment activity of CBER regions for the period are shown 2005-2014 in article. Results: based on the results of the revealed dynamics in investment activity of CBER regions we provided recommendations for increase in level of investment activity in the Voronezh region. Assessment of level of investment activity of regions in CBER consisted of the following stages: standardization of the chosen indicators of investment activity in spheres of attraction and use of investments, calculation of an integrated indicator of investment activity in both spheres, calculation of overall assessment of investment activity of subjects of CBER. For the considered period of 2005-2014 there was a change of the leader: in 2005 the Lipetsk region, in 2014 - Voronezh was the leader.
