MONITORING OF THE HIGHER EDUCATION SYSTEM: REGIONAL ASPECT

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of the Work is devoted to the analysis of the higher education system, which is one of the key factors of innovative development of the region in the medium and long term. Discussion: the hypothesis is that in many regions of Russia the average growth of innovative activity, there is a reduction in many quantitative and qualitative indicators of the progressive development of the higher education system that is not fully consistent with the global trends of socio-economic development of territories. Results: directions of improvement of interaction of the higher education system in certain regions of the Central Federal district with the aim of increasing the innovative potential of Russia.
