Abstract

In article possibilities of formation and development of institutional pathology as the section of an economic science, studying regularities of emergence, current and outcome of “diseases” and separate pathological processes in institutional systems of different scale, are analyzed. The interrelation and specifics of theories of institutional “traps” and institutional dysfunctions are proved. On examples of place marketing, corporative social responsibility, bankruptcy and mortgage lending ambiguity of institutional pathologies is shown.
