Abstract
Purpose: to research the economic category "public good" using the reproduction approach. Discussion: we consider public goods not only from the material aspect, but also from the social side, that is, the economic relations that appear in the pro-cess of reproduction of public goods. Results: we define the nature of public goods as a category of reproduction that is expressed through the system of socio-economic and economic relations as well as organizational economics which take place in the process of production, distribution, exchange and consumption. Addi-tionally, we defined functions, added a list of the main features of public goods and proposed a classification of public goods to identify them from a wide variety of goods and services. The concept of public goods is determined by the basic properties, features and types.Downloads
