Abstract

Purpose: the article observes how to assess the impact of methods of political influence and manipulation of the management effectiveness. Discussion: the results obtained by studies suggest that the power of the organization is not so much formal as a political one naturally. The organization , which consists of the different groups is usually competed for influence and its resources are always limited. Managers who use political power methods, which are based on the manipulation, are more successful for career advancement and are less effective in its core business. Political power techniques and strategies are a tool for any modern control systems that served as a basis for more detailed studies. Results: modern organizations create an environment that encourages political maneuvering and power struggles. Knowledge of political power methods and their ethics are becoming a condition for a successful career building and managers effective performance .
