Abstract

Purpose: this article discusses the importance and the need for strategic planning for a company in the construction industry planning further development of its activities. Before developing a strategy and its implementation, it is important to analyze the current situation. The article aims to develop the recommendations of strategic planning system improvement at the enterprise and contribution to revenue growth. Discussion: the article suggests methods of managerial and portfolio analysis that reveals the current position of the organization in the market and provide information on the current resource capabilities of the company. These types of analysis allow determining a reference point and being the basis for drawing up a development strategy. Results: аs a part of the development of a successful strategy, this article gives recommendations to improve the company's strategic planning system, contributing to revenue growth. This method is the achievement of competitive advantages through a leadership strategy in cost, differentiation, focusing and a pioneer strategy.
