Corporate culture as a fundamental factor of human resources motivation in the oil and gas industry
Abstract
Purpose: the article defines the concept and essence of corporate culture, its features in the oil and gas industry, and studies motivating corporate events used in Russian companies. Discussion: а study of the development of corporate culture was carried out using the example of oil and gas enterprises. Its influence on the motivation of company personnel. The study was conducted by comparing three oil companies using SWOT analysis (identifying factors of the organization's internal and external environment). In addition to the SWOT analysis, an analysis of the development of elements of the personnel management system in companies that affect motivation is presented. Result: the analysis made it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the corporate culture, opportunities and threats in oil and gas companies. And also their influence on the motivation of employees in the studied companies: PJSC LUKOIL, OJSC Gazprom and PJSC NK Rosneft.
