Stages of disintegration processes in EU countries

Abstract

Purpose: The disintegration processes, manifestations, trends and regularities that have become aggravated in recent years in the European Union (EU) countries have accompanied the integration structure throughout its development. This is due to the fundamental contradictions inherent already at the stage of formation of the EU and intensified in the process of changing the policy of its development. Disintegration processes in the EU have a complex temporal and spatial structure, which requires special attention to them, including modern scientific understanding. Discussion: The article attempts to structure the sequence of stages of disintegration processes in the EU. Results: The author's understanding of the terms «disintegration processes», «forms of disintegration», «disintegration manifestations», «disintegration patterns», «disintegration tendencies» is given. The main groups of factors that predetermined the course of disintegration processes in the EU are identified. The stages characterizing the peculiarities of disintegration processes in time on the example of the EU are highlighted.
