On the impact of the implementation of industrial projects on the agribusiness development prospects of Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya)

Abstract

Purpose: the article analyzes the situation with possible problems of food self-sufficiency of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutiya) associated with the adoption of a strategy for the implementation of large industrial and transport projects on its territory. The population growth in the industrial territories of the republic necessitates a review of certain areas of state policy and management. Discussion: the author proposes to implement a number of measures aimed at increasing the volume of agricultural production and increasing the level of food supply for the population of the republic, including through state regulation at the regional and municipal levels, taking into account the territorial development of the republic during the implementation of zonal megaprojects. Results: based on the author’s research, the main reasons for the delay in the development of agriculture in the republic in recent years are proposed to pay special attention to its development, taking into account the implementation of large investment industrial projects to ensure food self-sufficiency in the region. Studies and suggestions of the author can be used in the implementation of national projects, programms, considered when determining the directions of the regional agricultural policy and the development of municipalities.
