Сравнительный анализ муниципальных информационных систем в рамках комплексного анализа развития муниципальных образований

Abstract

Purpose: This article analyzes the municipal information systems used in the Russian regions and the identification of their using limitations in terms of possible increasing the informational content of the regional socio-economic situation. Discussion: Municipal information systems present a comprehensive technology, software and information environment creation, storage, analysis and dissemination of information in the interests of municipal governments, businesses and citizens. A variety of systems with similar functional characteristics, but there are features that determine the specificity of their implementation and operation are used in Russian regions. Results: The authors have produced the comparative characteristics of a number of municipal information systems, revealed similarities and distinctive functionality. The analysis showed that the software package MISS "VOLOST" refers to the number of systems with the greatest functionality and has become a promising tool for information gathering and analysis of municipalities’ socio-economic development.
