Build-up and development of the protective belt of the Keynesian scientific research program
Abstract
Purpose: the author performs the analysis and interpretation of Keynesianism evolution as the I. Lakatos research program development. Discussion: the author thinks that Keynesianism is the alternative to the Russian monetarist development model. The author analyzes the Keynesianism evolution in the article. The I. Lakatos’ methodology identifies the progressive or regressive components of the Keynesian research program. Results: the author detects that Keynesian research program has progressiveness features. Keynesianism, unlike the neoclassic doctrine, does not perceive an «inexplicable disaster» in the common processes in the word. Note that the term «new normality» describes the common processes in the word. Eventually the Keynesian research program got the progressive component. Herewith protective belt theories played an important role in this process. Economic policy models on the basis of the Keynesian concept (subject to specific features of selected countries economics) may be realistic and its implementation is effective.
