The essence of the inconsistency of economic interests of economic entities

Abstract

Purpose: make an attempt to clarify the category of «contradiction of economic interests» of economic entities as the most important condition for motivating their activities, as well as identifying the types and forms of their manifestation, analyzing this concept as a complex hierarchically subordinate system. Discussion: the main provisions of the authors, both classics and contemporaries, which reflect the essence of the category under consideration, are analyzed. The main causes of emergence and development, еру forms of manifestation of the category under consideration are revealed. Methodology: in the process of studying the problems of the emergence and development of contradictions of economic interests of business entities, the following methods have been applied: system- functional and comparative analysis, scientific abstraction, general and special, analysis and synthesis, ascent from the concrete to the abstract and vice versa, dialectical unity of the inner content inconsistency of economic interests of market system agents. Results: the authors clarified the essence of the category under study, identified the driving forces of its development and improvement, formulated the functions and highlighted the exogenous and endogenous levels of occurrence and development of contradictions in the process of reproduction.
