Abstract

Importance: adaptation and development as the main processes for the formation of an effective management system for high-tech enterprises in the conditions of the volatility of the digital operating environment. Purpose: to analyze the key features of adaptation and development of the management system of high-tech enterprises in the context of constant changes in the digital environment. Research design: the development and adaptation of the management system to the conditions of the external environment is a complex process, which should be given special attention to the administrative apparatus of the economic entity. One of the key conditions for the successful implementation of development and adaptation is information support as the basis for making competent and timely management decisions. In modern conditions of high volatility of the digital environment of an economic entity, the issue of a detailed analysis of the processes of adaptation and development of the management system is of particular importance. Results: The paper explores the key features of the volatility of the digital environment. Volatility (variability) is characterized as an essential condition for the functioning of any economic system, especially in the current conditions of digitalization and global- ization. It was revealed that when introducing new information technologies into the activities of an organization as part of the formation of a digital environment, employees must have the appropriate competencies in this area, have a high qualification level and must be ready for the mobile implementation of their decisions. The functioning of an economic entity in a digital environment contributes to the solution of pressing social and global problems, simplifying the process of communication interaction between organizations, the state and civil society, improving not only quantitative, but also qualitative characteristics of activities.
