Analysis of the recruitment potential of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation among young people: experience of the Voronezh Region

Abstract

Importance: an important prerequisite for the effectiveness of the Federal Antimonopoly Service is its high personnel potential: the competence of its staff, their creative abilities, ethical principles. A necessary condition for its development is the replenishment of the ranks of state civil servants with competent and motivated youth. In order to develop and implement a competent policy of working with potential students, it is necessary to know their priorities and needs. Purpose: to assess the potential of forming the staff of the Federal Antimonopoly Service from university students studying in legal, economic areas (specialties) on the example of the Voronezh region. Research design: for a comprehensive assessment of the staffing potential of the Federal Antimonopoly Service by students studying in specialized areas (specialties) in the Voronezh Region, a survey was conducted of students studying at the economic and law faculties of Voronezh State University in the direction of "Jurisprudence" and the specialty "Economic Security". The objectives of the study were to find out the degree of awareness of students about the possibility and features of employment in the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the main incentives for such a choice and the circumstances that prevent it. Results: the degree of awareness of Voronezh students about the procedure for employment in the Federal Antimonopoly Service, the subject area of such work, priorities that are incentives for such a career choice and ideas that hinder it is evaluated; measures are proposed to help overcome problems with the formation of youth personnel of the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
