Special requirements for distribution of advertising on the Internet

Abstract

Importance: norms governing the procedure for placing advertisements on the Internet. Purpose: аnalysis of changes in the current legislation regulating advertising, rules for its placement. Research design: within the framework of creating an ef-fective advertising control system, the most important for distribution on the Internet is the distinction between advertising and reference, information and analytical materials. This approach makes it possible to ensure the traceability of advertising on the Internet, to record, store and process information about such advertising, including information about advertisers and advertising distributors of such advertising, operators of advertising systems. Results: а feature of the changes in the Federal Law «On Advertising» was revealed, namely the need to adopt bylaws that will directly determine the composition of information to be transferred to Roskomnadzor for storage and accounting, like advertising on the Internet . An assessment was made of the likelihood of misunderstanding of the introduced changes, which will be neutralized in the future by the development of the practice of applying the new norms of the Federal Law «On Advertising».
