Publication Ethics
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal involves close collaboration of authors, peer reviewers, journal editors and the publishers. It is necessary to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing. Therefore the editorial board of the journal “Modern Economics: problems and solutions” have defined the following ethics in research and publication.
Author's responsibilities

Published materials shall be in compliance with all applicable requirements and ethical standards

Clarity and precision of the results presentation, absence of falsification and data abuse

Originality of the submitted materials, absence of the parallel or prior publications

No plagiarism, no fraudulent data

Responsibility for the submitted results of the research

Transparency of the financing sources and connected with them conflicts of interest

Completion of the materials in accordance with the editorial board requirements
Peer review / responsibility for the reviewers

Competence of judgments and impartiality

Reviewers should be objective and constructive in their reviews

Promptness of the review submission

Reviewed articles should be treated confidentially

Reviewers should not allow their reviews to be influenced by the origins of a manuscript, by the nationality, religious or political beliefs, gender or other characteristics of the authors, or by commercial considerations

Reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders
Editorial responsibilities

Editors should be accountable for all materials published in the journal

Fair play and objectivity of decisions regardless of commercial advantages

Preserve anonymity of reviewers

Acceptance of editorial policy ensuring transparency and materials consistency

Editors should counter misbehavior in the process of peer reviewing and editorial revision

Editors should inform peer reviewers and author regarding all requirements specified for them

Set journal policies appropriately and aim to meet those policies, particularly with respect to:
